At of Rebel Faith, we believe in examining scripture with both scholarly integrity and compassionate hearts. When Antoine Maurice Price disrupted a service at Windermere Union Church with anti-LGBTQ+ condemnations, we saw an opportunity not for anger, but for education and healing.
This Pride Month, we're proud to partner with Windermere Union Church to present "LGBTQ+ + CHRISTIANITY," an eye-opening series that examines what the Bible actually says—and doesn't say—about homosexuality and sin.
The evidence is clear: traditional interpretations of the so-called "clobber verses" often misunderstand historical context, linguistic nuance, and theological purpose. Throughout this series, we'll explore these passages to reveal a more loving, inclusive understanding of scripture that aligns with Jesus's message of radical acceptance.
